In 1996 Vitas and Marlene Kijauskas purchased their first boat, the
Discovery. We began exploring the Shipwrecks of Lake Erie and two
years later, Discovery Dive Charters & Tours, Inc. and Underwater
Research & Recovery, Inc. was established. We started operating SCUBA
diving charters and sightseeing tours on Lake Erie in the summer of
1998. After our first dive charter, we knew this was exactly what we
wanted to do. But, considering the dive season is so short in Cleveland
we decided to expand. When Wildwood Marina and the Linda Mae
were offered to us in 2000, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
In the Spring of 2009, we started offering Canoe & Kayak Rentals.
Over the past five years we've noticed this sport becoming very popular
and wanted to offer this amenity to the visitors at Wildwood State
Park.
In the Fall of 2009 they expanded once again and established a winter business;
Wildwood Outdoor Services. Wildwood Outdoor Services
is a landscaping company specializing in Snow Removal Service and
Firewood Delivery Service. We also delivery, topsoil, mulch, and
gravel. Other services we provide are Light Duty Excavating and
Fall Clean-Up Leaf Removal.
Today, not only do we conduct Scuba Diving Charters and Sightseeing
Tours, but also operate
Cleveland’s ONLY DAILY Fishing Charter Head Boats, the
Linda Mae and the Express.

Mid-September we took Jack to the Vet because she was having difficulty breathing. She was diagnosed with a lung infection. One thing led to another and after five long weeks, she lost her battle and passed away on October 23, 2003. Jill was by Jack’s side every step of the way hoping her best friend would pull through. She even stayed in bed with her on her last day. Jack will always be in our hearts and thoughts and will be missed dearly. |
